Last Night at Gianlisa Showroom Opening

It was rock romance met designer luxury in an elegant Parisian woman and the deep respect for Italian craftmanship, courtesy of Elise Brasca last night. The designer and CEO of Gianlisa Handbags who was born in Italy and raised in France and had the opportunity to work as a product manager at some of the most important Maisons such as Pierre Hardy, Chanel, Miu Miu, Dior and Lancel in the French capital. This is my second season witnessing her meticulous eye for handbag functionality but never compromising the finest materials and designs. In fact, I own a Gianlisa Rockmantique clutch and an iPhone case that I religiously wear in every occasion that permits me - you have seen me wore it herehere, here and here.  It's one of my investment bags on my closet recently. It's been tested and proven under the rain and yet it's meant to live for long. Not to mention that the Gibson guitar shape and star quilted on the bag convey a rock element but still delicate because the nappa lamb leather is as soft as a pillow.  While, the fall/winter 13-14 collection is made of multifunctional shoulder bags that become large clutch bags or a bag in bag removable within each bag.  My current favourite is this mini-bowling Irving grey leather with a touch of green phyton leather. Green and gray combo is really unexpected, however, the result is an excellent blend! Had you also seen the new logo of the brand? Elise told me that the sheep represents the black sheep in fashion and the fonts used is actually the calligraphy of her brother - Simon. Anyway, between the bags, the marshmallow lollipops and the cabinets de curiosités  - I am so torn!  What about you?
