Anyway, I'ld like to share to you my Milanaise afternoon under the sun and a blog interview from my follower Barbara Simmons of Gurl Chat from California. Hope you'll enjoy it - happy reading!

1) How would you define your style?

My style is very flexible. It can be preppy today, tomorrow it can be streetstyle or the next day it can be 60's. I don't limit myself on a certain style. I just want to be free and be expressive of what I want on that certain day.  You see, I am a writer and a writer normally works on a certain theme - that's what I do. I look for some inspirations:

• it might come from an old photograph or a vintage store,
• it might be a ruined jeans I saw on a girl at the subway station, 
• or a certain event or feelings like love this coming Valentines Day. 

Different strokes for different folks. I guess different people like different things and for me it is same with style.But what is unique about my own is that I incorporated my personality into it!

In ogni caso, vorrei condividere con voi il mio pomeriggio Milanese sotto il sole e un colloquio da Barbara Simmons di Gurl Chat, la mia fan dalla California. Spero che vi piacerà e buona lettura!

1) Come definiresti il ​​tuo stile?

Il mio stile è molto flessibile. Può essere preppy oggi, domani può essere streetstyle o il giorno successivo può essere anni 60.Io non mi limito a un certo stile. Voglio solo essere libero e di essere espressiva di ciò che voglio in quel determinato giorno. Vedete, io sono una scrittrice e una scrittrice funziona normalmente su un certo tema - che è quello che faccio. Cerco un po 'di ispirazioni:

• potrebbe provenire da una vecchia fotografia o in un negozio vintage,
• potrebbe essere un jeans rovinati che ho visto su una ragazza alla stazione della metropolitana,
• o un determinato evento o sentimenti come l'amore questo giorno di San Valentino in arrivo.

Tratti diversi per gente diverse. Credo che persone diverse come cose diverse e per me è lo stesso con stile. Ma ciò che rende unica la mia è che ho inserito la mia personalità in esso!

I was wearing: Burberry bag, H&M beanie similar here, Zara leather jacket similar here, Zara Tartan shirt similar here, Guess jeans similar here, Zara shoes similar here, Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses and Hermes/YSL bracelets.

2) Who/What are some of your style inspirations?

2.a WHO

• Carine Roitfeld: She inspired me on so many ways not just because she was a former French Vogue Editor. When I went to her book signing "Irreverent" at Armani Library here in Milan, she wrote to me "If fashion is passion, go for it!"
• Miroslava Duma: I saw her outside a Ferragamo fashion show one night last year. She is very sweet and she have smiling eyes. She's one of the most photographed Russian lady in fashion and I love her style. But apart from her statement necklaces, I love her crusade of bringing Russia to the world and the world to Russia through fashion.
• Anna dello Russo: I met Anna during the opening of her collaboration with H&M and I think she is the epitome of a very stylish Italian woman.The kind of woman we want to be: very sure about herself, elegant but doesn't forget to be funny and let's not talk about her second Milan apartment just to house her collection of clothes, shoes and jewelries!

2.b WHAT

• The Street: I love to just sometimes sit on a cafe and look at what people are wearing and the eccentricity on how they wear their socks or how they fold their sleeves.
• The Internet: There are times, I just type a word on google and click on images and I find it very amusing that there are gazillions of pretty images and poses and new things that I can integrate on my blog to add value to my post.
• The Milanaise Fashion: The Milanaise way of dressing up is very different. I have been to other European and Asian cities (I have got to see the America though) but it's way different. They have their own aesthetics, elegance and decorum in a manner that is very entertaining and impressive. 

2) Chi / quali sono alcune delle tue ispirazioni di stile?

2.a CHI

• Carine Roitfeld: Lei mi ha ispirato così tanti modi, non solo perché era un ex direttrice di Vogue Francia. Quando sono andato a far firmare il suo libro "irriverente" dalla  Biblioteca Armani qui a Milano, mi ha scritto: "Se la moda è passione, vai per esso!"
• Miroslava Duma: L'ho visto fuori dalla sfilata Ferragamo una notte l'anno scorso. Lei è molto dolce e lei ha occhi sorridenti. E 'uno dei più fotografati donna russa di moda e mi piace il suo stile. Ma, a parte le sue collane di conto, mi piace la sua crociata di portare la Russia al mondo e il mondo in Russia attraverso la moda.
• Anna Dello Russo: ho incontrato Anna durante l'apertura della sua collaborazione con H&M e penso che è l'epitome di una donna italiana. La donna che vogliamo essere: molto sicura di sé, elegante, ma non dimentica di essere divertente e non dimentichiamo anche che ha un secondo appartamento  a Milano solo per ospitare la sua collezione di vestiti, scarpe e gioielli!

2.b COSA

• La Strada: mi piace stare solo a volte in un caffè e guardare a ciò che le persone indossano e l'eccentricità su come indossare le calze o come piegare le maniche.
• l'internet: Ci sono momenti, mi basta digitare una parola su google e clicca sulle immagini e lo trovo molto divertente il fatto che ci sono tantissimi immagini belli e pose e cose nuove che posso integrare sul mio blog per aggiungere valore al mio post.
• La moda Milanese: Il modo Milanese di vestirsi è molto diversa. Sono stato in altre città europee e asiatiche (e voglio vedere anche l'America), ma è modo diverso. Hanno i loro propria estetica, l'eleganza e il decoro in un modo che è molto divertente e impressionante.

3) At what point in your life did you know that you had a passion for fashion?

High School: When I was on my sophomore year and the kids at my school were wearing high-cut sneakers and hip-hop jeans.I tried to be a little different by cutting my jeans and adding a faded look on it because during those tenders years I think it will

look cool. 

3) A che punto della tua vita hai fatto sapere che hai una passione per la moda?

High School: Quando ero sul mio secondo anno in high school indossavano high-cut sneakers e pantaloni hip-hop. Ho cercato di essere un po 'diverso taglio i miei jeans e aggiunto un look sbiadito su di esso, perché in quegli anni penso che sarà look cool.

4) Being that you live in such a beautiful city would you say that Milan has influenced some aspects of your style?

Yes, it has influenced me a lot on the way I dress-up. They once said, "If you're in Rome, Do what the Romans are doing." In this case, do what the Milanaises are doing.

4.) Si come vivi in una città così bella lei direbbe che Milano ha influenzato alcuni aspetti del tuo stile? 

Sì, mi ha influenzato molto e il mio modo di vestire. Hanno una volta disse: "Se sei a Roma, fai quello che i romani stanno facendo." In questo caso, fare quello che stanno facendo i Milanesi. 

5) What advice do you have for someone that is trying to come into there own individual style?

My advices are:

• go out there
• experiment
• find inspirations and make it your own
• wear something that makes you happy
• when you're happy it reflects on your face
• meet people
• look inside you - look inside your soul
• you can't give what is already given by others
• show your personality
• they will love you because your style is who you are
• but most of all you will love yourself because you are 100% you!

5) Che consigli hai per qualcuno che sta cercando di venire a lì proprio stile individuale? 

I miei consigli sono: 

• andare là fuori 
• di esperimentare 
• di trovare ispirazioni e fatelo vostro 
• di indossare qualcosa che ti rende felice 
• quando si è felici si riflette sul tuo viso 
• di incontrare le persone 
• guarda dentro di te - guarda dentro la tua anima 
• non si può dare ciò che è già dato da altri 
• di mostrare la vostra personalità 
• ti amano perché il tuo stile è chi sei 
• ma la maggior parte di tutto quello che si vuoi bene, perché tu sei al 100% cio chi sei! 

6) Being that the economy is quite flimsy these days, what advice do you have for the frugal fashionista? 

Here are my tips:

• subscribe to newsletters of your favourite brands and put on your wishlist the items you like, they will send you email promotions and inform you if the item you choose is on sale.
• best deals come during sale seasons, spend on months of end of the autumn/winter season sale like January to February and end of the spring/summer season sale on July to August.
• use coupons and codes promotions,  some of my affiliate advertising send me codes for my readers even if it is not sale season - so you can also take advantage of that
• outsource, buy vintage items on your local vintage stores instead online to avoid shipment fees but if you like to buy on ebay - negotiate for the price.
• spend on a budget, this will help you not to go over the limit on your credit cards, avoid many fees and not to over spend. 
• resell, resell the stuff you don't use anymore to buy a new one. You can resell on asos marketplace or you can bring your stuff on your local vintage store and let them sell your stuff for you.

6) Essendo che l'economia è molto fragile in questi giorni, che consigli hai per la fashionista frugale?

Ecco i miei consigli:

• iscriviti alla newsletter di tue marche preferite e mettere sul vostro lista dei desideri gli elementi che ti piace, che ti invierà email di promozioni e di informarti se il prodotto che si sceglie è in vendita.
• le occasioni migliori sono durante le stagioni di saldi, spendi per i mesi dalla chiusura dello stagione autunno/inverno di vendita come gennaio e febbraio e alla fine dello stagione primavera/estate di vendita luglio ad agosto.
• utilizzare coupon e promozioni codici, alcuni dei miei pubblicità di affiliazione mi mandi i codici per i miei lettori, anche se non è stagione di vendita - in modo da poter usufruire di tale
• outsourcing, acquistare oggetti d'epoca sulla vostri negozi locali vintage, invece on-line di evitare i costi di spedizione, ma se si desidera acquistare su ebay - devi negoziare per il prezzo.
• spendere per un bilancio, questo ti aiuterà a non andare oltre il limite sulle tue carte di credito, evitare i costi di molti e non spendere più del tuo budget.
• rivendere, rivendere la roba che non si usa più per acquistarne uno nuovo. È possibile rivendere sul mercato asos o si può portare la tua roba sul vostro negozio locale di vintage e far loro vendere la tua roba per te.
