Denim Vest over Cotton Maxi Dress

There isn't any fine luxury that to feel comfortable and carefree on a stroll in the city.  And yes next to t-shirt and jeans, my next summer favorite is a long maxi dress. Maxi dress elongates the body and the darker shades makes you slender - now isn't that a great catch? The only added plus is: if it has a pair of slits on both sides. Denim vest by the way, is a must-have this season as they can be mixed with any top and bottom of any fabric and texture. And now, all I need are a pair of mirrored sunnies and neck swag and I am ready to sing - find light in the the beautiful sea, I choose to be happy, you and I, you and I we’re like diamonds in the sky!

Let's Do The Mambo

If you live in Italy, you're maybe just like me who look-up to Sophia Loren, Bianca Balti and Monica Belluci. They have these untainted style that even time can't tarnish. You might also wonder why, I used the "Mambo Italiano" song on the video I created wearing this dress. The music rightfully coincide with what Sophia Loren had passed through in her life and I am just a lover of southern Italian songs and ambiance. Although, I live on the northern part of the country - I think the south is another paradise to discover! This dress might not be the one that really come from the Dolce & Gabbana runway but the print is really beyond admiration. Besides, budget-wise I can't spend 15 hundred euros for a dress. Nonetheless, it still gives me the same satisfaction of exhibiting the inspiration I want to share with you - I think that's more important! With the theatre drapping, the supremacy of the red color, the 18th hundred Milanaise palace on the background and the pounding beat of my emotions - I truly felt a charmer on it!

SheInside Midi Dress

Hey girls, I hope you will like this video experiment I did on YouTube.  It's quiet hard beeing a newbee on video editing. So, I tried to just make it really simple. The video was taken from my iPhone and I had it transfered on my Youtube channel. The dress was a Dolce & Gabbana-inspired one that I bought on SheInside. You can see the full details of the dress here.They really have a lot of cute dresses but this one had caught my eyes!  I am currently drafting the photos and soon I'll share them to you!

Furla Bag

MULTI-FUNCTIONAL BAG. At long last, my hunt for a black multi-functional bag is over! You know me, when it comes to choosing bags over the years I become so picky. This Furla tote has three comparments inside. Two of those are zip. Double handle and one shoulder handle if you want to be hands-free. The good catch about it is the lock with Furla engraved logo. When traveling, you don't have to worry  about your stuffs inside because you can just lock it up! Isn't that perfect for airport transit or a weekend out-of-town? Which made me think - hello summer! As for the styling, you may have seen me wear this flowered top many times. It's this one piece that I think I can mixed with a lot of bottoms that I can imagine. Speaking of bottoms, this blue & black stripes inspired from previous Prada catwalk seems to be in wonderful harmony with the floral top even though they are completely diverse.

 So, what do you like best: the bag or the look?

MULTI-FUNCTIONAL BAG. Finalmente, la mia caccia alla borsa multifunzione è finita! Mi conoscete, quando si tratta di scegliere le borse sono diventata, nel corso degli anni, sempre più schizzinosa. Questa tòte di Furla contiene all'interno tre scomparti. Due dei quali con la zip. Doppio manico o manico unico se preferisci la tracolla. E la parte migliore è la serratura con logo Furla. In viaggio, non devi preoccuparti delle tue proprietà all'interno perchè puoi bloccarla! Non è perfetta per i viaggi in aeroporto o un week end fuori città? E questo mi fa pensare - ciao Estate! Per quanto riguarda il mio stile, mi avrete visto indossare questa maglietta fiorata diverse volte. Questo è uno di quei capi di abbigliamento che penso di poter mixare con qualsiasi "sotto" io possa immaginare. 

Parlando di "sotto", ho preso ispirazione per questa gonna a righe blu e nere dalla precedente sfilata di Prada e sembra essere in perfetta armonia con la maglia fiorata anche se sono completamente diverse. Quindi, cosa vi piace di più: la borsa o il look?

I Jump My Heart Out!

When was the last time you jump your heart out? The last time you celebrated for those little achievements in life? Sometimes, all those unnoticeable things that we seldom appreciate matter the most. Like the person next to you; who smiles to you genuinely and sees you more pretty without any make-up. I was off blogging for a few days and made me realize these things. More often, the competitiveness of blogging can be draining and being wire-off can be a good thing from time to time. FREE - is the keyword for today's styling!  A really simple ensemble wearing a pair of  boyfriend jeans,   platform sandals, transparent bag and to embrace the season's floral prints - I top it up with a bomber jacket. Now, you're ready to hop with me and enjoy the city! By the way, do you like my new hair color?

Quando e' stata l'ultima volta che hai lasciato che il tuo cuore saltasse fuori? L'ultima volta che hai celebrato quelle piccole cose guadagnate nella vita? Qualche volta, tutte quelle cose che non notiamo, quelle che raramente apprezziamo sono quelle che contano di piu'. Come la persona che ti sta affianco; che ti sorride genuinamente e ti vede piu' carina senza trucco. Non ho scritto sul blog per qualche giorno ed ho realizzato queste cose. Molto spesso, la necessita' di competizione nello scrivere un blog puo' essere prosciugante e staccare il filo puo' essere una cosa buona ogni tanto. FREE - e' la parola chiave per lo stile di oggi! Un semplice outfit realizzato con dei jeans boyfriend, sandali platform, borsa trasparente e, per abbracciare la stampa floreale di stagione - l'ho completato con un bomber. Ora, siete pronte a saltare con me ed a godere della citta'! In ogni caso, vi piace il mio nuovo colore di capelli?

SUMMER MUST-HAVE. I may not be the only one  wishing for a pair of mirrored sunglass but I think almost everyone is! This pair is available online at mytheresa but I am also wishing for this blue one on Asos - don't you think it time to get another one? Considering, I also have this Gunmetal version that I use during cold months. But mind you, if you are on a budget you can also opt for this aviator lenses at Romwe - which made me think that I should have bought this! 

On another note, I want to inform you ahead that soon I will be making changes on my name. What does it mean? It means that I will be changing my blog name: Bambi Eyes to my real name: Rosaly Escueta. Why? I already explained this my FB page that Google had me changed it - might be to avoid future problems on copyright. So, I am really asking for your understanding. Now, let's talk abut the good news for you, VirgiD; an Italian living in London will be translating my blog content in Italian. Yehey! I know, I really sucks in Italian. I must-have dell'Estate. Non credo proprio di essere la sola a desiderare un paio di occhiali specchiati, li vogliono tutti! Questi che indosso sono disponibili online da mytheresa ma devo dire che vorrei anche i blu che si trovano su Asos - non pensate sia il momento di averne un altro paio? Considerate però che ho anche questi di Gunmetal, versione che uso nei mesi più freddi. Ma intendiamoci, se non potete spendere troppo potete anche optare per queste lenti da aviatore su Romwe - che mi fanno riflettere sul fatto che avrei dovuto comprare questi! 

Un altra cosa, volevo informarvi che presto farò delle modifiche al nome del blog. Che significa? Che cambierò il nome Bambi Eyes con il mio vero nome Rosaly Escueta. DIY: How to turn homeware to fashionware?

Homeware to fashionware? Isn't that a great idea? My light bulb had somehow functioned and creating this no-brainer DIY was so much fun!  It's so easy to do and helps me put my make-up in proper places. I don't have to waste my time looking around to find my favorite lipstick - that was really my real deal here. On the photo below, I showed an example of homewares you can use so that you can also make your own. I used some silverwares but don't obliged yourself - if you don't have them. You can use whatever available items on your household or you can buy them on vintage markets. This is also my attempt to create a long overdue board on my pinterest. Let me know if you've tried it? I am so eager to hear your results! How do you find this DIY? Was it helpful?

Trasformare oggetti d'arredo in oggetti fashion? Non è una grande idea? La mia lampadina aveva in qualche modo funzionato e questo fai da te è facilissimo da fare ed è stato anche divertente! E' sia facile da fare sia utile per mettere in ordine i trucchi. Non devo perdere tempo in giro per trovare il mio rossetto preferito - un vero affare per me.
Nella foto sotto ci sono esempi di oggetti d'arredo che ho usato io per mettere ordine ma ovviamente potete usare ciò che volete per i vostri trucchi. Io ho usato diversi contenitori in argento, ma se non ne avete è lo stesso. Potete usare qualunque oggetto per casa che avete o comprarne nei mercatini dell'usato. Ho anche il progetto di creare una lunga tavola di scadenze sul mio pinterest. Fatemi sapere se l'avete provata, sono ansiosa di conoscere i vostri risultati. Come avete trovato il fai da te? E' stato utile?
